Are you ready to make a difference in the world?
YES? Then consider Volunteer Expeditions where you will have a new kind of volunteer travel while you interact with your destination and your destination interacts with you. Called: voluntourism, ethical holidays, travel philanthropy, or social service trips, our expeditions combine vacation travel with volunteering at destination all over the world. Take a volunteer vacation: It’s good for you and depending on the trip you choose, it’s also good for other people and the planet.

Volunteer Expeditions is a non-profit travel organization with growing commitments and partnerships with the communities we serve in New Orleans and the Navajo Nation. Our latest volunteer travel opportunity is to help the people of Haiti.

Our expeditions offer special benefits to families seeking a memorable shared experience and to the many adult singles (of all ages) who prefer taking vacation time in the company of others. We have designed special programs for religious and social organizations and for corporate workers, thanks to more flexible scheduling

We provide you the chance to mix doing good with having fun. You will contribute to the lives of people who need help. In the past, volunteers had to spend weeks or months or, in the case of the Peace Corps, even years to see the impact of their efforts.

Most of our expeditions, whether to help rebuild New Orleans neighborhoods or volunteering in Haiti, are about a week in length and a lifetime worth of service, love, caring, empathy and connections. Now, depending on your specific expedition, your muscles may think you’ve been at it for months but your heart will know.it’s only begun. During your volunteer vacation, do plan on getting dirty, tired and having a wealth of eye-opening experiences.

You may be painting and rebuilding homes in New Orleans or tutoring children in the Navajo Nation, cooking and serving food in homeless shelters and volunteering in schools during your volunteer vacation as you immerse yourself in the local culture.

You’ll get to meet those you’ll be serving, dignitaries, and experts in their fields, government officials who are working to make lives better, educators, craftsmen and numerous souls along this path who have the same core desire as you — to give back, to contribute, to make a difference.

If you’re not sure what type of Volunteer Expedition you’d like to have, then just give us a call and we’ll help create one with you 312.520.4100. We’ll do all the planning and organizing...all the details. You get to focus on serving and giving back to the world.
